THE WAR MACH!!
On 1915 25th december a german officer planted a jolly christmas tree in the middle of no mans land a brave english soldir walked up to him un aware what dirty guns he had and shook hands.
german and engilish soldir shook hands exsept the for the bitter sorrow officers did not agree they threatened to shoot thier own men.
It was cold cold and snowy, they were freezing to death. Dead poeple looked like snow men a german barber started to cut hair trees covered in glitering snow. And the one christmas tree standing tall that the sturdy german planted. towereing over the rest.
Out nowhere a bounced over to a man called fredd he kicked it up and headerded it to a bunch of germans. Before they knew a fast and furies mach startedthey had no count of score and no referee only coats as goal posts. It was half football half ice scating.
It was so untrue one day they were killing each other and another we were playing football in no mans land. It was a bad idea to shake hands with the german because you had no idea what weapens he had!

WW1 Christmas fun
On Christmas day the enamys the English and the Germans had a football match in No mans land in France.
Before the match a German and English solider called Henry, shoulk hands with each others. The whole of No mans land was coated in snow and ice. In the trenches a nice warm breakfast was served, wich was bacon. Out on No mans land hundreds of Christmas trees were planted with lots of colouful lights. The English received presents wich were khaki hankercheif and a gift from princess mary wich was tobacco and a pipe and a card from the king and queen.
Out on No mans land a ball came out of nowere, while the Germans and English chatted. Two English soliders called Alexander and William ran up to the ball and William kicked the ball to Alex and Alex headed it to a group of soliders. After that all the soliders ran onto the ground and then threw there caps down to mark the goals. The match went on for ages and all the soliders smilled and were very hot.
"Yeh I'd play again if I could, the Germans are quiet friendly" Alexander and William English soliders.
"It was a popostarus idea discusting" Matthew English officer. After the match a English solider called Joseph said he felt great! A German officer called Max said he was discusted and that it was horrible.
The football match was very important because there were two sides who had been fighting for ages, and on one day they start a football match. It was a good idea because they won't want to kill each other.

My newspaper report Football Match Fun
On Monday the 25th December christmas day 1914 the soldiers of world war 1 had a big football match. To the officers discust they had found a football and started to play a football match,on the battle field full of snow.
That morning the soldiers had breckfast as they usually did and they realised that the ground was full of snow, with a great background scene of snow and snow flakes falling what a nice christmas scene it was.All of the soldiers were happy ,and were getting on befor they were going to have the football match they were all exited about.
The soldiers were having a great time playing football while the officers were doing there best to try and stop the soldiers.Apart from there being no refare and no scores being kept but all they cared about was having fun and that is just what they were doing on the battle field. There was mabe a few bumps and fouls but they didn`t care about that. They used diffrent coulerd hats to decide the diffrent teams they were all on.
After an hour or two the soldiers were getting tired so they wnt back to the trench.the English officer told us "He was discusted that they were playing football it was christmas not the world cup". The game was a joyful game and one of the Germans players reported to us that " The match was a good one and there was no fighting". All of the soldiers agreed that the match was a googd match.
The football match was a great way to remember that christmas.it has given a lot of people a good reprutation. The football match was a grest idea becaus they stopped fighting for a day.

Christmas day football
Last week on christmas day, during war time. The british and Germans had a football Match, On no mans land. The soldiers had an unprepared football match in the middle of a battle field, during the great war.
That Morning the soldiers had a full cooked breakfast and were greeted by thousands of sparrows flying above the trenches. They received Presents such as: OXO Cubes, Khaki hankicheives, including presents from Princess Mary and a card from the King And Queen. Later in the morning a German soldier came and planted a Christmas tree on no mans land., one of the british soldiers shook hands with him and was followed by a few others. There was no Bombs and some of them were singing carols, One of the soldiers gave haircuts to a few other soldiers.
Then out of no where a football bounced across the icy mud. A British soldier kicked it to a few Germans. There was no Referee, unknown numbers on each team, and no count of the score. the players were half ice skating half Football, as it was Frosty, snowy and icy, making it harder to stand up!
The players said that the officers were not happy. "it wasn`t suppose to be a friendly meeting, therefore if they did it again they would be shot!" said a british officer!
The players enjoyed the match, they said it was fun!
" Hitler told us we needed to kill the Brisrish, but afterwards it was hard" said a german!
This match made a difference because there was friends made and no killing! it was a day off from fighting and dieing, it was funner then fighting. this idea was a good idea!

They said they would not want to carry on because they maid friends with the germans. They also said it was fun and they just messed around and it was better than playing in the back garden.
It was a good idea because the war started on christmas day. The football match happend on christmas day, and the Germans and the British are still quite good friends.

EVACUEE DAY
when we were looking at this vidio we saw this olden day children going onto this train because they were getting evacuated from the city and from there homes. When the children were going on the train the parents were crying and shouting come back ia don't want you to go away. vanessaa
Evacuee day!
Yesterday we came into school in an evacuee outfit. First, we had our photo taken and then we went into the hall. We watched a slideshow about evacuees. Then, we lined up in twos and went on a pretend train ride. It was really fun! Then we had an expirience of two houses. One was really nice were we got cake and milk! The other one, not so good. We had to eat bread and water! Finally we went in the hall, watched the same vidio as before and then it was all over.

In school we were doing about people who were evacuated. In the war when the german people were bombing all of there home's city's and also there trains so when they bombed there home's some of the children had to get moved to the country side to live with the people who adopted them. When some of the children were there they thought they will have some stuff like bacon so when they woke up in the morning they ran down stairs and the children's mother's thought what are you doing we are not like you'r other mother's we have for breakfast milk and some egg's that the chicken's have lade in the farm so you guy's have to go and get you'r egg from the farm and bring it back here but the children thought why don't you go and get it for us but the mother's in the olden day's were saying why don't you go and get you'r egg's or i will go and on adopted you.

Today in the trench was horrible because the smell was vile of dripping water, rats, faeces and urine. I could hear the bombs expolding and people screaming in pain. I could feel the rat's scurring around on the ground, lice riggerling in beetween the stickes in my clothes.

We are learning about it would be like to have 100 people in the world. Here are some egsamples,it would be good to have children in the world because every time some body dies that's an less amout of people in the world.
If the world had only 100 people on it life would be very diffrent. 50 people would be male,50 people would be female.20 people would be children and 80 would be adults.14 of then would be 65 or over. There would be 61 Asians.12 European.13 Africans and 14 people from the Western Hemisphere. There would be 31 Christians.21 Muslims.14 Hindus.6 Buddhist.12 people who practice other religions and 16 people who do not follow any religon.By Evie

Dear Sir Alex Fegurson
I am writing to talk to you respect in football. No-one but a complete idiot would belive that the respectof fans at the moment is perfect .I think that this needs to change amediatly.
The fans respect is alright, it is getting better at the amount of respect. We all no that there needs to be more more and even more respect, in this club. But do you want a smashed stadium or not .
If you are a football fan you will now about the respect in football matches there is alot of bad respect .there could be egnormous diffrence for players if they never ever do swaring or fighting ever again.
The fans thought that the respect is terrible this needs to inprove amediatly .this needs to be no booing, no swaring and defintley no punching(kicking)
yours sincererly
