Way underground, lived a beast called Medusa.Medusa did all sorts of things to humans like turn them into stone and killing them with her snakes on her head.
The time had come for Theseus to go and slay the evil Medusa.So he covered his eyes and put his shield over his eyes half way so she doesn't turn him into stone.
The problem was that Theseus was scared of Medusa because she could hypnotise you when your facing her. So he decided to take a step back and wait there for a second.
When Theseus thought to his self that Medusa isn't scary so he decided to run into the cave. Suddenly he heard a strange voice and then he knew it was Medusa. so he held up the shield to his face and then in the reflection of the shield he saw Medusa behind him.
When he turned behind him he put his sword behind him and slashed Medusa's head off.
Medusa head lay dead on the floor and perseus grabbed the head and put it in a sack and went back to zeus.
