                       WW1 Christmas fun

On Christmas day the enamys the English and the Germans had a football match in No mans land in France.

Before the match a German and English solider called Henry, shoulk hands with each others. The whole of No mans land was coated in snow and ice. In the trenches a nice warm breakfast was served, wich was bacon. Out on No mans land hundreds of Christmas trees were planted with lots of colouful lights. The English received presents wich were khaki hankercheif and a gift from princess mary wich was tobacco and a pipe and a card from the king and queen.

Out on No mans land a ball came out of nowere, while the Germans and English chatted. Two English soliders called Alexander and William ran up to the ball and William kicked the ball to Alex and Alex headed it to a group of soliders. After that all the soliders ran onto the ground and then threw there caps down to mark the goals. The match went on for ages and all the soliders smilled and were very hot.

"Yeh I'd play again if I could, the Germans are quiet friendly" Alexander and William English soliders.
"It was a popostarus idea discusting" Matthew English officer. After the match a English solider called Joseph said he  felt great! A German officer called Max said he was discusted and that it was horrible.

The football match was very important because there were two sides who had been fighting for ages, and on one day they start a football match. It was a good idea because they won't want to kill each other.
